Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt consented on a temporary child custody

This occurred two years after the couple  announced their separation. “The agreement, which is based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator, eliminates the need for a trial,” Jolie’s attorney said. “The filing and the details of the agreement are confidential to protect the best interests of the children,” she added. In October, the two actors began child custody evaluations. Jolie and Pitt first met on the 2003 set of their 2005 thriller Mr. & Mrs. Smith and began publicly dating a few years later. They married in 2014, but split in September 2016. The marriage was Pitt’s second, the actor having previously wed Friends star Jennifer Aniston, and Jolie’s third after relationships with actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.

Their child custody battle included Pitt being investigated for possible child abuse after losing his temper in front of some of the children. He was later cleared of the allegations. They have yet to reach a final divorce settlement. Judge John Ouderkirk has been extended to their divorce case until Dec. 31, 2019.
