Former President Barack Obama is vacationing in British Virgin Islands

“One of the first stories Barack told me when he and Michelle arrived on Moskito Island was how, just before he became President, he had been surfing on a dangerous break in Hawaii,” Branson wrote on his blog. For the next eight years Obama didn’t have the chance to surf, enjoy water sports or do many of the things he loved. Now, it was even a competition between the two men: “We agreed to have a final-day battle to see who could stay up the longest,” Branson wrote. According to Branson, Obama learned to kitesurf on the beach of Necker Island for two days before their challenge. Photos and videos emerged last week of the former president described a full-vacation mode outfit: shorts, polo shirt, flip flops and a backward hat. Obama is also pretty good at basketball, to say more.
