However, in the last six months of 2013, only one new petition received a response.
The petition is titled “Deport Justin Bieber and revoke his green card” and was created less than a week ago. “We the people of the United States feel that we are wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. (…) We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive and drug abusing Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”
The terms of the “We the People” petition program says that if a petition meets 100,000 signatures “it will be reviewed by the administration and we will issue a response.” Other petitions were opened on the website to make opposition, asking that Justin Bieber should not to be deported but they have only a few thousand signatures. Actually, Justin Bieber is charged with drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license after police saw he was street racing in Florida. In addition, he is investigated in California for the felony of vandalism tied to an egg attack.
