Pepsi improved taste of its zero sugar beverage


Pepsi company announced on Friday that will soon taste different because it uses a “new sweetener system” that gives it a more “refreshing and bolder taste profile.” Pepsi didn’t reveal what specifically changed in the formula. However it was said the amount of caffeine was reduced. Customers who tested the new formula appreciated the new flavor tastes more refreshing with a “real cola taste.” The company “leveraged the best new beverage technology to upgrade our product to give fans the best tasting cola in the zero-sugar category,” said Todd Kaplan, Pepsi’s chief marketing officer, in a release.


“The product is truly a breakthrough as it is the best zero sugar cola we’ve ever had — period,” he added.The company are making up to 10 million free Pepsi Zero Sugars available to consumers during the NFL Playoffs beginning on Jan. 14, so that people can try it for themselves. The packaging design remains the same. Worth $125.3 billion in 2020, the sugar-free carbonated drink market is expected to reach $243.5 billion by 2030.
