Elon Musk just changed attitude against Twitter. He reversed the decision to join the board of company. Experts say that means he’s no longer limited to owning just 14.9% of the company. Many analysts suggest the Tesla CEO could bolster his stake and eventually try and establish control. “Instead of Musk in the boardroom in the corner just saying nay or agreeing on certain board candidates, I think now it really goes to the point that in the coming days I think we’ll start to see if he’s going to go more hostile, more active — that’s what the Street’s focused on,” Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives appreciated. Shares fluctuated Monday and the unpredictability could continue. Others think Twitter simply isn’t where Musk wants to spend so much of his time. As Twitter’s largest shareholder, Musk will certainly influence the future of the company, with direct implications for the platform’s ability to generate ad revenue. Even though he has decided to reject an offer for a seat on the company’s board, his actions and shared opinions will still prove highly influential. Previously Musk teased in a tweet that “significant improvements” were coming “in the coming months.” What exactly he is thinking no one could say.

But maybe we will see again Trump on Twitter. Or not ? „Truth Social” was not a big success, until now. In fact, “Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy. Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle?” he asked. More than 70 percent of the 2 million of his followers who voted said “no.” Some Twitter employees “have expressed worries that the firebrand Musk could inflict damage to the company’s culture, as well as make it harder for people to do their jobs.” Where is the truth now ? Money talks, as least in our fragile actual world.
