Perceptive Pixel aquired by Microsoft


During the 2008 presidential campaign CNN bought screens produced by Perceptive Pixel and used them to create the well known Magic Wall. Microsoft has big plans for the company. One of their publicly made statements is that they plan to reduce the costs of a final display unit dramatically from the current $80 000. The price will become more appealing if it is substantially lowered.

Microsoft can even combine Perceptive Pixel’s powerful displays with its existing hardware from their OEM’s to offer complete PC’s ready for Windows 8.
