The 5-day event will be held at the Moscone West Center in San Francisco. Philip Schiller, the company’s senior vice president, said that they could not wait to showcase their latest software technology advancements and get newer versions of the OS X and iOS to the developers attending the WWDC.

The WWDC focuses on software development for the range of Apple products, but as usual the rumored iPhone and iPad successors will take precedence. Apple watchers and those attending the conference are looking forward to getting official information about the next generation iPhone and iPad from the company. Mac Pro users have also been waiting for the company to divulge what they have in store for the high-end computers.

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook touched on what can be expected at the WWDC, during a conference on the company’s earnings for their second-quarter held yesterday. Cook said that the company is set to introduce an array of new hardware and software as well as services beginning fall and going into next year.
