The company based in Vancouver, B.C announced the recall yesterday and said that over the weekend they had pulled the pants from retail stores and as well as their e-commerce sites. The company used Luon fabric to create their collection of yoga pants and said that they found out that the fabric was too revealing. The company posted on their website that they were looking into why the batch of extremely sheer pants made their way into the market.
The company is said to have been using the same manufacturer and quality procedures since 2004 which makes it puzzling how the overly revealing pants made their way to the market. Affected customers are being offered exchanges or full refunds by the company. Lululemon has also issued a warning to its customers on impending shortage of their black yoga pants.
