Japanese company SoftBank acquires Boston Dynamics from Alphabet Inc

Group Corp. (“SoftBank”) from Tokyo , a Japanese telecommunications company, announced  that one of its subsidiaries made agreement to acquire robotics pioneer Boston Dynamics from Alphabet Inc. At least for the instant, the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Andy Rubin was asked to no longer use the “Essential” mark

Expected to be shipped soon to customers who first pre-ordered it, the new phone “Essential” created by Andy Rubin to change the way we think about smartphones  was accused of trademark infringement. Accessory maker Spigen asked Rubin to stop using the “Essential” name because they have the trademark.

Google Maps is getting more accurate as fake listings drop by 70 percent

The numerous steps Google took during the past few years to reduce fake results popping up in Google Maps have been effective. Not only did the fake listings count massively drop but according to the company the fake listings are identified before they even appear on Google Maps.
