Tony Awards - 2014

The 68th annual Tony Awards (The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Theatre ) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City was one entertaining event.The host was Hugh Jackman. The first award of the night went to Rylance of "Twelfth Night" for best performance by an actor in a featured role in a play. Here is the list of 2014 awards:

Tony Awards are considered the highest U.S. theatre honor, founded in 1947 by a committee of the American Theatre Wing headed by Brock Pemberton. The Tony Awards Administration Committee has twenty-four members. There are approximately 700 eligible Tony Award voters , from various areas of the entertainment industry and press. The Tony Award medallion was designed by art director Herman Rosse. The face of the medallion portrays an adaptation of the comedy and tragedy masks.
