As a solo artist, Buckingham has released six studio albums and has recently embarked on a promotional tour for his new three-disc set “Solo Anthology: The Best of Lindsey Buckingham.” Unlike most rock guitarists, Buckingham does not play with a pick; instead, he picks the strings with his fingers and fingernails. Despite their frayed relationship, Fleetwood Mac expressed support and solidarity with their former bandmate. They wished him a "speedy recovery." „Our thoughts and love go out to Lindsey and his entire family.”
