Actress Rose Marie has died at 94

Actress Rose Marie, whose trademark hair bow is in the Smithsonian and who had a long career spanning TV, Broadway, films, nightclubs and as a Hollywood Square, has died at 94. She was best known for her role as comedy writer Sally Rogers on TV’s The Dick Van Dyke Show. Carl Reiner, who created the show and occasionally starred in it, tweeted: “There’s never been a more engaging and multi-talented performer.”

Actress Heather Menzies-Urich has died

Actress Heather Menzies-Urich, who played one of the singing von Trapp children in the 1965 hit film, "The Sound of Music" has died late Sunday at 68. She  was diagnosed with brain cancer in November 2017. Menzies-Urich played Louisa von Trapp, the third-oldest of the seven von Trapp children, in the film adaptation of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical that starred Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer.
