Meghan and Harry have revealed plans to launch a charitable organization called Archewell.
The organization's name is not based on their son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, but rather the Greek word "Arche," meaning "source of action," they said. This word was also the inspiration behind their son’s name. „To do something of meaning, to do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon. We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right." The couple hinted that they are in no rush to roll out its launch due to the coronavirus pandemic. They can no longer use their Sussex Royal brand. Further details of how the organization will operate and what causes it will support will be released "when the time is right," a spokesperson for the couple told media on Tuesday.
The couple recently relocated from Canada to Los Angeles, Calif. On March 31, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially closed their office in Buckingham Palace and stepped back as senior members of the royal family.
