The world has the proof now: Miley Cyrus, 26, and 28-year-old Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth are officially married.
The couple tied the knot over the weekend in a small ceremony at their home in Franklin, Tennessee. The home was filled with a mixture of wedding and Christmas decorations. Cyrus confirmed the news Wednesday in a series of Instagram posts, including a picture of the couple embracing during the ceremony with the caption "10 years later...". On other photo of them kissing, the singer wrote: “This is probably our one – millionth kiss.” Hemsworth also shared the same photo, writing, “My love.”
The couple first met on the set of „The Last Song” in 2009 and began dating. They got engaged in 2012 but after they separated for three years. The stars were spotted hanging out again in 2015. They had been living together at their Malibu home, which they lost in the California fires last month. The singer, songwriter, and actress Miley Cyrus became a teen idol starring as the character Miley Stewart on the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana. Cyrus has earned three number-one albums on the US Billboard 200 with Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008), and Bangerz (2013). He is the ambassador of the Australian Childhood Foundation. He was named PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2016.
